I had a demo copy put on my computer at the adjuster school I went through but it expired. I have another demo CD and it loads OK but when I try to open it its asking for a user ID and password. Anyway around this so I can use the demo version for an advanced class that I'm going to take. Thanks!

First, you need to completely uninstall Xmate and then reinstall. The uninstall is through windows at the control panel. Then, after you reinstall, you can type in DEMOXM8 as your keycode. Then you can select the training price list when it asks you for a price list. Hope this helps.

And if what the guy above said doesn't work, you can go to their website, Xxactware.com, and download another demo copy and they email you a temporary key code to use.
I do it because I want to provide a better life for my family than my parents could provide for me.

Before doing all that, if you still have the old demo on your machine, try backdating your computer to the date when it was installed (or a bit later). If it comes up, but still ask for the key code, the DEMOXM8 should work.

If you have some programs such as MS/B and back date, you will have to re register the program. Not sure about others. I tried that one time and messed up several programs.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

I have the demo on my desktop.  I installed it over a yr. ago, so when I need to get into it to work on something, I just backdate.  Running XP.  I've never had to enter the access code either.  At least it's been working well for me.
