First let me tell you a little about the situation. The RV repair company I worked for has gone under, As have most companies in the RV Industry in Elkhart Indiana. I had the pleasure of servicing the RV's of several adjusters up here during the Gustav flooding and hail damage that made it to northern Indiana. I talked to one couple in great lenght about becoming a CAT Adjuster. I began researching this field about 6 months ago and found it to be very appealing to me . Now the great state of Indiana has given me a grant for the training. My question is this, Which of the hundreds of companies offering training will give me the most for the buck. Indiana has approved US Staffing for thier Texas All Lines and Auto & RV but not the xactimate. So I look for the opinions of those who have gone through different schools. So thank you for any info and guidance you can provide me.

I went to this licensing class in 2006 to get my Texas license. It was 5 days with the test & finger printing on the last day. Good class, worth the money.

As far as Xacimate, AMCAT has a good class, I have taken both beginner and intermediate at their facility in Coppell, Texas. I think it was $350, but that was 2 or 3 years ago. Good luck

You are incredibly lucky to have someone footing the bill for your training. Under those circumstances, I would make sure I included a course at Vale National.
