At 1120 PM EDT Sep 26 2024 HELENE made landfall in the Florida Big Bend area as a Cat 4 Hurricane

As of 10/25/24 The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation is currently reporting 127,066 insurance claims related to Helene with the "Total Estimated Insured Losses of $1,437,491,638"
