Claims Supervisor WANTED

As an established Property & Casualty and Catastrophe independent adjusting company, SAI provides timely, quality services to the insurance industry, including Appraisal and Dispute Resolution services.
Role Description
This could be a part-time or a full-time, remote role. The Claims Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing claims management, handling claims, utilizing analytical skills, and ensuring efficient insurance processes. Part-time opportunities may be available.
Qualifications
• 10+ Years handling Homeowners & Commercial Property claims from inception to close
• 5+ Years experience handling 3rd party liability claims preferred
• Supervisory Skills for managing claims processes
• Claims Management and Claims Handling experience
• Analytical Skills for assessing and processing claims efficiently
• Knowledge of Insurance principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions
• Excellent writing skills
Responsibilities:
• Supervise field adjusters
• ****Ability to read and understand residential and commercial insurance policies****
• Review documents, correspondence, and reports pertaining to claim investigations
• Proactively communicate with customers concerning claim updates
• Assist the field adjuster with formal reports and correspondence, as needed, for quality control
• Organize file documents in a concise manner
• Ability to manage a moderate to heavy claim load
• Communicate with vendors authorized by the carrier, coordinate vendor documents, invoices, and estimates
• Manage personal and field adjuster diary dates
• Familiarity with Xactimate and FileTrac claims management system preferred
