Still looking for Adjusting work!! Still want to get my hands dirty and get down to business.

Who would have thought it was going to be so hard getting this careerer off and running. I am a very good candidate, just don't know what more I can do to prove myself in order to get work. Any help would be great!!

Honestly, you should have done more research before jumping into this. If Ike is as bad as they are predicting, someone will probably call.

This is mostly seasonal type work. The adjusting companies have an A list they call long before any new guys.

Stephanie, I have jumped feet first into everything that I have ever wanted to do and I have never failed.  Anything that is worth doing is usually not easy there has to be a way of weeding out the dead wood.  I have never been weeded out of anything so I will be successful in this as well.  Somebody wil pick me up if IKE does the damage that people are predicting.  I appreciate all of your responses and all the help that I have recieved as a result of me joining this forum and reading and asking questions.  Thanks to all.

If you're "surly",  you surely won't make the list.

Attitude is not everything..........it's the only thing.

I think I know ol' Shirley.

Got legs like a race horse.

Or, was that Shirleen?

Not sure Larry... you might be thinking about Ilene. She has one leg shorter than the other though.

Hey guys, I think I may have gotten on with a company. I just wanted to get some input from you all and see what you think. The company that sent the email is FARA. The email stated that ( This is to inform you that you will be working Ike claims for CJW in Houston, TX.  We will email you on who to report to, the location, and when to report as soon as we can) What do you think this means?????  Does it mean I'm in or just on a list??? Also do you know any information on the company FARA and its affiliation with CJW ?

Thanks a Ton,

Jason

I believe the answer to your question is hidden within the above post, as far as if you are working or not.

FARA is my first choice. Good fee schedule and pay forward. The way that they are set up is very conducive to productivity. Cce is relatively user friendly. They are very particular about file accuracy, however that is a good thing. Go for it. Policy interpertation is important and knowing the difference between two policies is even more important. Say hi to Bob.
