The beautiful (?) northern Ontario city of Subury is famous for it's giant nickel, and ir home to 155,000 hardy souls. Appollo astronauts trained in an area where a rare rock formation called shatter cones (similar to what they expected to find on the moon) exist, this gave rise to an urban legend that Sudbury was chosen due to the desolute landsape. I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.
