I personally don't think any examiner or supervisor is going to spend as much time on this claim as we have.

It's just not worth it and those that can make decisions will decide to pay the loss and non-renew the policy.

Or, just pay the claim and go to the next one.

I have lost all faith in the industry actually adhering to a concept of "right" and "wrong".

I had that same feeling this week when a carrier that is "not real concerned about customer satisfaction" denied a leaking pipe claim (slab leak) because a hollow sounding ceramic tile maifested more than 14 days before the major visible water damage event.

I have seen other carriers honor claims that manifested a year earlier - and this one has strict 14 day guideline. Single mother, not well versed in construction. She writing to the Dept of Ins...

In the interests of customer service,  you might offer to review her letter, run some spell check, make sure the address is correct ...........................
