Good afternoon to all of you "hopefully busy adjusters" I am an almost new adjuster, I go for my licensing and schooling June 28th. I have done some FEMA work, and it proved to be disappointing at best. My question is this, can I make a living being a private sector adjuster? Hard work doesn't bother me, I don't mind long days, and I have the right motivation...Family lol. Are there ways and means to stay busy, or am I dependant on the really big storms... Any help/advice I can get from you "Seasoned vets" would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks, James

There are endless thread on this subject that are worth reading. Can you make a living. Simple put, in 05 yes in 06 no in 07, maybe.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Indeed, that is probably one of the most asked questions. I apologize, It's getting close to schooling and licensing and I'm nervous
