I travel in a p/u w/ a 6' box and a full cab height canopy. I have been trying to decide what ladder, for 2 & 3 story would break down enough to fit in the canopy. I would rather not have to install a ladder rack on the canopy if I can keep from doing that. Anybody have some good ideas?

I threw a 21' ladder on the top of my Honda accord and returned to my two story claim for a re-inspect- too short.

Returned the ladder and got a 24'.  That height or better will suffice for your 2-story roofs.

As for 3 story, get a 40' ladder.

I have a luggage rack that carried the two story, but that's as large as I would put on there.  Looks like you're stuck with installing one of those metal frames that puts the full length of the ladder above the cab and out the back.

With fee schedules as low as they are, I can't afford to race from claim to claim in a truck anymore.

IF you have a 16 and a 24" you are in pretty good shape. When you get that 3 story, you can rent a 40" at home depot.

I am convinced that God created the Greeks so that they could contribute hydraulics to the populus. Buy a bucket truck or a towable hydraulic lift. Mine is the towable, rechargeable electric. No more ladders and 3 stories, a piece of cake.

Anybody that believes the dollar numbers bandied about on this site could buy one a month and still have money.
