You will have to get your own training.

Shawna, You said you have an Adjuster's License and a laptop. What estimating program have you been training on? Do you have a 17' folding ladder? You need to take Vale National's three week Property Adjusting Course or the equivalent. As Jim Gary stated "You will have to get your own training".

I have a small independent claims service and my territory goes from the Oklahoma Border through Denton into North Dallas and across from there to Mount Pleasant to New Boston. During slow times I accept assignments in Oklahoma and the Tyler-Longview area. In this business time is money and I do not have the time to train a green claims adjuster. If you had the training the equivalent of Vales', I would invite you and your ladder to meet me on my claims in your area to sharpen up your skills.

Yes, I believe I have all of the necessary equipment. I was trained on Xactimate. I would definitely appreciate the opportunity to sharpen my skills!! Your territory is right in my back yard. I have training, just not the hands on experience...any opportunities would be appreciated!
