    Hi my name is Byron and i had some quick questions to ask.

     

    I'm very interested in getting into automotive insurance adjusting

     

    After i graduated high school I went to a automotive trade school and graduated and was offered a job as a automotive extended warranty adjuster, which i have been their 3 years and would like to take the next step to reaching my goal of becoming a automotive insurance adjuster.

     

    does anyone have any advice or infomation that could help

    Back to school.....     Look online for schools offering auto adjusting courses.  Vale National and Farm Bureau were two I found .  I am sure there are many.   You will also have to obtain an adjusters license to file claims for any company / carrier or work for an already licensed adjuster.  I have worked with an adjuster on hail damage auto claims and collision.  There is a lot to a report than just what you see as obvious body damage.  Good recording skills (scope), a good digital camera (helps when the memory fails), and software that creates a good report will help when closing a claim.
