    State Farm HO 7955 Policy   Section 1 - Losses Not Insured pg 9.

    1. We do not insure for any loss to the property described in Coverage A which consists of, or is directly and immediately caused by, one or more of the perils listed in items a. through n. below, regardless of whether the loss occurs suddenly or gradually, involves isolated or widespread damage, arises from natural or external forces, or occurs as a result of any combination of these:

    m. birds, vermin, rodents, insects, or domestic animals.  We do cover the breakage of glass or safety glazing material which is part of a building, when caused by birds, vermin, rodents, insects, or domestic animals; or

    n. pressure from or presence of trees, shrub, or plant roots.

    However, we do insure for any resulting loss from items a. through m. unless the resulting loss is itself a Loss Not Insured by this Section.

    So my opinion based upon reading these two paragraphs of the State Farm training policy that the only coverage for damage caused by a domesticated animal would be for  the breakage of glass or safety glazing material which is part of a building, when caused by birds, vermin, rodents, insects, or domestic animals;

    I look forward to any replies.  I found a great source of 16 Claim coverage Scenario Q&As that I will post later when I have the time.  Now I need to study for my State Farm certification exam which I may or may not even go to due to possibly inability to attend on the training date.  Unless something changes I may not be heading to Dallas on April 7.  I do hope I get to go but I will not know until Monday April 5.
