I do not know how many of you have had the pleasure of working with Gary Olsen who is a supervisor with pilot. He is in a florida hospital with a tumor in the brain and cancer in his lungs. Gary is one of the niciest people I have ever had the pleaseure of working with. We were working together in california in 2002-2003 and gary had the best sence of humor of anyone i have met. I have spoken to him twice this week and they have started radiation therapy and he is hopeful that this will help him recover. The long term prognosis is not good but gary is in great spirits and houmor. Please say a prayer for gary and as i get more information I will pass it on to all of us.

All our prayers will be for and with him.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

    Tony,

I have had the pleasure of knowing Gary for about 20 years. We have had some great times together. As a matter of fact, if you are out with Gary you are going to have a great time! Carol has emailed me about what was going on. She is flying down tomorrow. If you talk to Gary in the next few days tell him that he is in our thoughts and prayers.

    Update,

I spoke to gary yesterday at the hospital and he was in good spirits, They have started the radiation treatments and that makes him weak but his attitude is great and he appreciates all the prayers that everyone has for him. Gary is just one of the great guys that you can always count on. As I hear more about his condition I will keep everyone on here up dated.

I will be sure to put in a prayer for Mr. Olson. I do not know him personally but I think this forum is a good place to draw prayers and support from fellow adjusters.

Gary got to go out last Friday night with all of his kids and his grandson for supper.

Gary died at 5:00 P.M. today in Christopher's arms (his oldest son)

Everybody keep Gary's family in your thoughts and prayers

This is one of the saddest days for me. Gary was a good friend and great person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and we all wish Gary a safe journey to his next assignment.

I just spoke to gary's son cris and he stated that his dad passed away in good spirits, The family is going to have a small ceramoney and then scatter Gary's ashes in the ocean. His family thanks us for our prayers and the world is going to miss this man as he had a way of making every day a good day.
