Janice and I are attending the convention in Southaven on the 28th of this month. If any other CADO members are going to that seminar, please advise as we would like to go out and have dinner with a bunch of CADO family members. We will be staying at the Super Eight Motel at exit 287. Lets hear from you, it is soon coming. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

I went to the March 12 Metairie seminar and almost didn't get in. I submitted my application before I received it in the mail and I still had it returned since it was full. I drove 3 hrs just to walk-in and arrived at 7am. At first, the guy told all the walk-ins to make like a leaf and handed us a form to reapply. We ignored him and waited again at the end of the line and he let us in even though it was full. They allowed us to choose to have no breaks except for lunch and let us out early at 230pm. Everyone was pleasantly pleased! I hear most of the seminars are booked except for the Mobile seminar. I believe it's on May 17th. This one has a much larger capacity than the Metairie location.

Tim, we got ours on March 5th. Are you going? :Please don't expound on where you went. This is for a get together of CADO family, if you will be at that seminar in Southaven, Ms. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

I apologize for almost changing the subject, I should have made my post clearer. I only expounded on where I went and my experience with walking in so people would not be dissuaded not to attend just because they did not get their "ticket" to attend. However, I encourage anyone to call the NFIP first before doing so. Hope you all have a good time in Southaven.

Thanks Jud,, no apology necessary. We are not getting much response, so, it will be what it will be. Glad you were able to get into one without too many problems. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
