Sorry I have not replied but I have been at the NACA convention in Ft. Worth this week.

The way I see the Awareness month working is to bring attention to things we can do in process of handling claims that show professionalism which may help us all to be better professionals. For example I was talking to an adjuster that I believe would even meet Ray’s criteria as a professional adjuster and he pointed out how often he saw reports from adjusters that did not contain the name and\or contact information of the adjuster. He felt that this was unprofessional and I agree. While it may seem like a small detail to some, it is often the small things we over look that can make the difference.

Roy, is there any way to start a thread, allowing posters with suggestions to post, by line, not a commentary of posts, just suggestions. I hope you understand what I mean. How was the convention this year. You might comment on it.

Tom, what I have been working on I believe is just like you suggested. I will have it on-line soon and post a link to in this thread. The convention was great, I will post some additional details later in a new thread.

Okay Husker, thanks for bringing the spelling to my attention. I took the PC to the shop, spent $300.00 and got the apostrophe fixed and made the corrections. Now, what is your mailing address so I can send you the bill.You're the man.
$300 ?    Wouldn't you know, that's exacty my consulting/troubleshooting fee!  Want to call it even and save each other a stamp?

Well, I am indeed 67 years of age. I should have thought there would be a consultant's fee. Let's call it even, cause I would have to run to town to get a stamp, (increased cost) and take the time (lost revenue), so let's call it even.

One the facets of being a professional, is knowing what you are getting into. Go to the blogs and check out Katadjuster's blog on being prepared and what to know before hiring on. It is very well done and very important to all, ol timer's, or newbie.

Oh my goodness an adjuster using a program that does not give his contact information. Now I know many procats that use x-crap. I even respect them, but not the program. Let's not throw them out but allow them to go to Office Depot and get a rubber stamp and affix the first and last page . If its more than 50 pages each page with a zero should have a stamp also.

Goodness we will loose so many excellant, brain washed (  *by proxy) adjusters if they can not use the stamp.

* the carrier made them*
