If you haven't checked out any of the local claims associations in your area, you may want to try one and see if it would be worthwhile to attend. Granted, most will be found in the major population centers, but if there is one near you, check it out. You might make some contacts for daily claims work.

This Wednesday, 10/5, the Dallas Claims Assoc is having their monthly meeting, which is a lunch and one hour CE class (about $30?). See their website for details, at www.dallasclaims.com

A local engineer is speaking concerning residential foundations. Reservations are needed, as the meals are prepared in advance, based on the attendance projection. You don't have to be a member to attend, guests are welcome.
