I have commercial and residential construction experience, and I recently came across a craigslist ad for Mile High Adjusters.  They offer a week-long class in adjusting which results in knowledge of xm8 and a Texas license.  I`ve done a fair amount of research on insurance adjusting since then, and it appears that newbies really get their chance to crack into the industry only when an unusual number of catastrophic incidents occur.  Is this happening right now? And if so, does anyone have any recommendations for schools online or offline that are currently offering classes?  Any other advice?
