I am trying to find out about Pacesetter Claims. I am on their "stand by list", but have not been called, which is somewhat surprising given my experience. I have not seen Pacesetter mentioned on this site, so I am just wondering if anyone has any information.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I worked for Pacesetter the last 7 years and this has been a great company to work for.

My business partner and her father are both deployed with Pacesetters in the Metro Dallas/ Ft.Worth area . Kinda strange that they haven't called you yet given your "experience". I am not even on their roster yet they wanted me to deploy. I couldn't as I just started my own IA firm and am already in over my head with USAA.

They in fact deployed two of my guys who are brand new, which was way cool. I guess that you weren't called has only to do with location i am sure.

Pacesetters is a solid IA firm/training provider, they license and train adjusters in addition to deploying them.

I have heard nothing but solid comments from those working with them. The only complaint if you could call it that is that they require multiple reports and addendum's and the like over and above other IA firms so things tend to slow some folks down.

I do NOT see that as a bad thing, I see that as a testament to their solid rating as a tier One vendor

They're a good company but now have a contract what they present after you begin working.  This contract was reviewed by some attorneys who advised us not to sign it.  The pay is an issue on the contract.  Request a copy of their contract and have an attorney to review it before deploying.

I have two brothers that started working with Pacesetters just last week and I have to tell you, they ran from them, along with many others, because they were losing money every day they were working for them. Their first week on the job was down in Chicago and from the start they were set up to fail. There was not enough trained staff members on hand to help the newcomers ease into the process. Instead, they were bombarded with claims at a rate that was ridiculous for any new employee to keep up with.

It might've been this assignment that was pushing Pacesetters to their limits, but all I know is a lot of good people walked of the job due to insufficient training and guidance by Pacesetter's "experienced" staff. The Chicago assignment is through American Family and they have dropped Pacesetters once before for not being able to handle it. It might happen again if they don't straighten out the problems they're having down there.
