I want to wish all of the members of CADO a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (and I'll add a happy holiday season to be politically correct). This past year has had a lot of ups and downs that has affected a lot of us, but one thing that has happened is that there were a good number of weather type events that put a lot of cat adjusters back to work.

One thing that we should all keep in mind is that for many of us to do what we do, it means that a lot of people have suffered a loss or tragedy in their lives.  This can range from basic wind or hail damage to property to total destruction of everything someone has and/or loss of life. Loss affects everyone differently so what we feel is minor my not seem that way to the property owner.  Many people have also been adversly affected by the downturn in the economy, and as it worsens, more and more people will be hurt. The holiday seasons can be a much more difficult time for those that have suffered loss during the year, so please keep those people in your thoughts and prayers throughout the holidays.

And finally, I want to thank Roy and the moderators on this site for the hard work and patience they have given to bring CADO to us where we can get together as a group. I know that for me it has been a very beneficial place to learn, and where people can share their knowledge and experiences with each other. Thanks for providing us with CADO.

Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world.

Merry Christmas from Janice and Tom Toll and to all a fruitful New Year.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

    Merry Christmas!!

My family and I attended a candlelight service last night to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The spirit of the season that we try to carry with us throughout the year is Christmas. Tom, as always, said it so well.

As I've said before, I just want to be the person that my dog thinks I am.

I try to keep my goals simple and attainable.

    Merry Christmas
