NFIP has changed the wording in the final section of the F-687 Flood Insurance Claim Handbook regarding "Addressing Questions About Your Insurance Claim" (Appeals).  The old 07/05 Handbook is no longer useable.  This Handbook is to be given to every Insured by their agent on policy renewal and by the adjuster upon initial inspection contact.

A black and white PDF copy which can be sent by e-mail or faxed is available at:  http://www.fema.gov/library/viewRecord.do?id=2184

An order form for this and other materials to hand out is available at:  http://www.fema.gov/business/nfip/libfacts.shtm  Go all the way down to the bottom for the order forms.  The order form available right now was updated 8/06 so the 07/05 still shows up after the F-687 Handbook description instead of the current version.  Be sure to cross out the 07/05 and write in 11/06 on your order.

A viewable list of the different items is available above the order form at the link above.

The materials are free and are shipped quickly.
