My right front blew on my tape dolly, anyone have a right front? Some carriers require photos from the ridge. I will not,  nor will I allow my helper to climb a 10/10, regardless of what the carrier wants. If they want those dangerous roofs climbed, they need to come out and do it.

Tom,

You can get parts for the tape dolly at any store that does hobbies, like RC cars or airplanes or blow up dolls, or......

Uh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that's another type of hobby.  Sorry

No need for an air compressor on most kinds...they got solid tires.  But depending on whether the bearings are sealed, you might need a grease gun to shoot a little lube thru the zerks.  Also need them curb feelers on the front end & correctly calibrated, so that you know when you've reached the ridge since reverse isn't included in all of the floor models.  Chains are optional too, when inspecting hail damage in the winter.

Don't forget the most important thing of all, YOUR COMMON SENSE AND DESIRE TO SUCCEED!

Don't forget the Sketch-it clipboard which has the texture directly on the surface of the clipboard used for drawing straight lines. Replaces the previously used accu-line pad. www.sketch-it.com

Another thing that is handy is WASP spray. I've been up high on ladders and had the need to kill a few of those insects. Get the spray that will shoot the farthest !

I always bring an 8 x 11 piece of lexan with a string connected to a grease pencil for drawing roof diagrams when it's raining. I copy to paper when I get back in the car.
