Glancing around the various forums that have touched on the ICA $20.00 grab, directly or indirectly, including the Vendor Feedback Forum and its ICA specific thread; I am puzzled that no one else has come forward to acknowledge receiving the noted letter or provided their comment on it.
The letter was faxed to me and I received two PMs directly related to it from people who had received the letter.
Is it still all hidden within the context of anonymity?
Is a vendor of ICA's apparent stature, still that powerful to muzzle acknowledgement and commentary on their procedure?
The TV show "Fear Factor" is coming out with 8 new versions / concepts of the program. Perhaps a 9th should be suggested to them; "Fear Factor" on CADO, the vendor versus the peon? |

The first time some vendor, any of them, tell me they are pulling $20.00 out of my pay to further stuff their wallet, I will immediatley leave the scene, only after I tell them where to stuff that request. If more adjusters male and female, would develop some grit and tell these people to stuff their demands, the better off we would be. |

How many remember Crawford at Andrew with a $50 office expence fee that was not shared with the adjusters (even though many had been told it would be)? |

olderthendirt-I remember that, but it was an add-on to a schedule which I had already agreed to work. It did not change my pay, but it did increase theirs. On that same storm, I also remember having worked about thirty total losses, DWG,APS,UPP & ALE for a carrier who went belly up. I got paid every nickel based on the schedule on those losses. Crawford didn't even get their $50.00 on many of them. |
