I'll be the first to admit I know very little about mold remediation, however; ".... spraying down walls to 'get rid of' mold ...." sounds like a carrier's nightmare to me. I hope there are no holes in your rubber boots or your liability policy.
I think if you will go back and reread the gentleman's post you will see that he isn't nor never said he was the mold remediation contractor. It would seem he was merely hired or working as a sub-contractor to do a final clean-up behind the remediation company so I doubt he has any liability to an owner or insured for mold remediation. Just my opinion of course.
Ted, my post carried my comments as an observation, not a criticism. But, a final clean up as a sub behind a remediation company as you noted, is a long ways from one of his noted processes; ".... even been spraying walls down to get rid of mold ....".
You guys always surprise me. A guy asked about the earning potential doing cat work and now we're running a chicken hatchery and doing mold remediation. It's always a trip just to sign on and read the postings.
This is test to see if you had good training. In my classroom one IT would be a failing grade. 1. It's too old to repair, so I had to replace. 2. It's my job as an IA to look out for the insured first. 3. It's my job to keep the company out of the courthouse. 4. It's my job to determine coverage. 5. It's not the way I was trained.
