Please let us know brothers from the south part of our lovely state if there were any significant stones from heaven that fell in your part of the world. To make it short was there any good hail?

The grass is always greener on the other side, but it still has to be mowed!

There wasn't anything in Baton Rouge, just some heavy rain. Suposedly there was golf ball sized hail down in Whitecastle. I have a friend that is from there. I will see if she can call her folks and see if they know anything. Other than that I haven't heard much.

Just heard on the news that there was pea to marble size hail in the northern part of East Baton Rouge parish. For any of you who know the area, that is between the airport and Zachary. No damage reported. Maybe some minor dents on cars, but I don't think there will be anything out of this. Still waiting on reports from Whitecastle.

Short! Your better than the weather channel! I just hate it what few times I flip there in a day looking for a severe weather update I catch em talking about devastating tornadoes and hail only to find out its a preview for Storm Stories! They shouldn't do that to a fellow...

Was the hail large enough to damage autos?

Not hearing of any claims coming in, but talked to a friend in New Orleans and he said that the North Shore got some hail. We should see sometime today.

Heard about any cats being set up? I know it's rural.

Just talked to my friend who's parents live in Whitecastle, LA. They didn't even know about any hail so it must not be a very signifigant event. At least not there.

Thanks Cardude. Lets hope the PDR brokers don't ruin what little work there is by using rookie techs that hack up cars. Seems like every year the first storm or two they price cars so low that a quality tech won't do the repair. This causes adjusters to be wary of low ball prices and in the long run hurts the guys like me that puts in the time to make every car perfect, not just good enough to cash the check.

There are reports of golfball and baseball sized hail in the Alexandria/Pineville area. I haven't heard anything yet but let's keep our fingers crossed.
