The thread has not been deleted.
It has been removed from this forum to allow for reviewing.

It will may be restored once I review the comments made today.

We have a policy against disruptive posting and post containing name-calling.

No matter what views are presented we should always demonstrate professionalism.

Non-adjusters should understand that this site is devoted to adjusters and respect our community.

When non-adjusters post we should respect their rights to present their views and if we disagree we should rebut in a professional matter.

Repeated postings of the same views in multiple threads may be considered spam and disruptive.

Narrowing the opening will stifle the flow of knowledge.

Roy,

With all due respect, regarding any part of your personal preface to this topic that may affect us, we hope we do not "accidently" do something [objectively] interpreted as being "disruptive" or "spam" like.

The issues we have brought up are (certain) CAT and daily adjusting related issues, and how those affect consumers and construction businesses. With that said, we had a reply in "reply limbo" from Perils 1 to deliver...

Also, we hope that Perils 1 topic thread, which was 12 pages rich in consumer / contractor / adjuster help content, will be republished.

Kile,

We knew long before we met you, how to properly estimate construction costs. We look at costs through construction business owner glasses every day. Do you?

What came first the construction business arena or the claims adjusting business arena?

Who do you think is more in-tune with construction business risks / implications of day-to-day underpayment schemes perpetuated by insurers?

You think we are being repetitive. Why? Is it because you want to bring up a point (unchallenge) so as to have the last word?

Well, the last word is "bad faith" claim settlements Kile. ("Fraud" if the "bad faith" is intentional.)

1. If you have removed roofing component costs from a insurers / insureds 2-3+ trade G.C. business quantified estimate, you have been conning people. Cons love to bully others.

2. If you have not voluntarily forwarded, to an unsuspecting policyholder, the 10/10% minimum OHP due, that a G.C. loss scenario generates, you have not practice TDI's understanding of returning premium values owed. You have underpaid claims in Texas, and in other construction business populated areas.

If you have practice the opposite of 1&2...good for you.

(Certain) Carriers fooling policyholders through cooperative adjusters pretending contractors are estimating incorrectly is for ALL Texas insurers and supporting adjusters to be aware of.

Resting horses and dead horses look alike...until poked.

Help us expose these practices Kile.
Help you and yours by exposing the "bad faith" practice of carriers sending green or inproperly trained adjusters to settle with claim settlement naive people.
Help us help consumers / people to stop being put through the claim settlement ringer by carriers who don't really care.
Help stop insurer fraud and abuse.

Please tell me Conman. I have closed thousands of claims. Most without O&P added. I have seen the work get done and in many cases done for less than my estimate. If I was comitting fraud, how did this work get done? One of the biggest roofing contractors in the town I'm working in now is driving around in a brand new Hummer, purchased a few months after the hail storm. Now, please tell me how he managed to purchase such a fine piece of automotive extravagance without his beloved O&P? You want to know how he did it? He was able to do it because sub-contractor's profit is included in the price list I am already using. There is no need to add profit on top of profit. You might as well try to sell oil to the Arabs, Conman. You'd be just as successful as you have winning friends around here.

Reconstruction Man you have been on your soapbox long enough and I feel that we have given your group equal time in which to present your position. Most of your 121 posts have dealt with the same issues you first brought to us in December of 2003. It's time to let the viewers\visitors review the information that has been presented and as you say, “Adjust accordingly... “

I hereby make a motion that this thread be locked permanently and further, that Reconman be forever be banned from this Forum the next time he posts the same message as he has posted those other 121 times.

Do I hear a second to the motion?
