I am a new adjuster and am very much aware that there are a million nuances to this business that it will take me years to learn and when I found this site I thought "Great! If I have questions these guys will have the answer." But not wanting to draw the wrath of the "War Horses" for asking some idiot newbie question, I have resorted to scouring the previous post for needed information. Needless to say this is not the most efficient way to get answers. I personally would love to have a place on this site that is entirely devoted to questions and answers about adjusting. Just a thought. All in all I'm glad this site is here, I have learned alot and met some really good people here. Thanks CADO |

Post your questions, one of us, or more likely a group of us, will give you several individual answers. |

Everyone here has made very good points... I'm not typically over enthusiastic about the attacks and the negativity seen around lately. I will say though that every so often a subject pops up and lights a flame under my dairy aire. Then I fall right into the ranting and raving just like everyone else (just ask Chuck) and start to post things better left unsaid. I am truelly thankful however that I have a place to air certain frustrations when needed. I am just as thankful for the gentle reminders that I may be going to far.
We adjuster's are a very outspoken bunch (to put it mildly), and have to watch what we say so often that it's nice to be able to say what's on your mind. I agree that it would be an excellent idea to have a section for the ranting (clearly labeled danger signs included), it would also behove everyone to remember that this site is public and could be read by anyone i.e. carriers, IA firms, Insureds etc... we don't want to give ourselves a worse name in the public view, just when we really need to elevate it... I for one will try to not use that paddle cat man spoke of very often, no promises though :-} |
