Hey guys, getting to head back to H-town this week after 5 weeks out of a suitcase. Wife is flying into Baltimore Tuesday and I will pick her up for the drive home.
For my first venture into 'storm-chasing', I hope I didn't get spoiled by getting hold of a good vendor to work with. Handled about 85 individual files and one giant file with about 100 distinct properties under an umbrella policy for the Kingsmill community up in Williamsburg. Made a nice check in the process, met a lot of great people and already have a bar to hang out in when we move back up! (Mike's Place in Newport News - where we had the get-together.)
After hearing some of the horror stories about some vendors out there, I am more convinced that there has to be an accountability process in place for the 'bad apples'! Why does ANY carrier use someone that exposes them to high liability? I know that if I were to get stiffed by a vendor, my first call would be to the carrier and their legal department with my intent to pursue action through the courts. (This topic is a little off forum...)
How about my Houston Texans today? They are still awful young (and sometimes just - awful) but watch out for them next year!!!! Cowboys are beating the Redskins in one of the ugliest games of the year...
