This is an area of our industry and an area of CADO, that I feel at times, is not given the attention it is due.

Our industry is a "people business", and without sufficient 'new blood in the system' that is trained and knowledgeable; the system will not prosper.

All those that aspire to become an adjuster, all those that are new to property claims, all those that are new to CAT claims; and have a committment to that goal and professionalism, should attend the CADO Convention in April.

It is the most economical way to get a lot of grass roots training that you will require, meet many others in the business, and network yourself as a person.

You will not get a better opportunity to get exposed to the fundamentals of this business, and I urge each in this group, to find a way to spend 3 days in Mobile in April.

An aggressive agenda and program has been established, and is being made available at rock bottom prices.

Everyone that comes within the scope of this aspiring group, will greatly benefit from attendance at this convention.

How can you pass on $150 registration cost (by March 15th)? The sessions are designed to give you 'real' skills and information, that will allow you to advance in your goals and maximize your earning potential.

See you there.

I echo Clayton's comments made here. I was working in South Mississippi when the first convention was held in Biloxi, and was not able to attend as much as I would have liked, but still gained a lot of knowledge and met some fantastic people. Looking forward to Mobile!

I want to come, but April is prime ice cube weather here in Kansas. I'
I'll wait and see.

Hope the hail isn't ice cube size, baseball size, yeah.

That would be cool to see baseballs flying through the air. Since the Royals don't have much success at it. Hail will just have to do!

I know this post is not 'on topic' and I apologize for that, but could not really find an appropriately named thread for my question.

Clayton Carr and I were commenting this morning, that neither of us have seen "Newt" online lately nor has he posted, and wondered if anyone has heard from him and if he is OK?

Anyone know where Newt might be and if he is alive and well?

I thought I saw Newt on one of the other threads earlier.

Just to update with an answer to my own question, I took the bull by the horns and called to check on Newt, and he has been real busy of late, but we can expect him back.

Dadgumit, I missed the Old Codger!
