Todd...Oh, I so hope that he really is a Canadian! The spectre of him and Clayton doing the frostbite lockstep overwhelms me with visions of glee and bloodlust, kinda like the old boxing matches that Howard Cosell would call some 30 years ago.

I find it refreshing that two Canadians would act like they were mere uncouth Americans. It would be a kind of a poetic justice, don't ya think?

Monsieur Ghostbuster you must be tired of driving that septic truck all over Texas by now?

Here's a quick get rich scheme for you: Buy one copy of all the books which are listed with Barnes and Nobles and Amazon.com. Then give all your adjuster buddies a job: copying each book over on to your new website: "Ghostbuster's El Cheapo Adventures in Reading". Charge your "members" $50.00 per year for unlimited access to all the published books you now have copied and offer on your website. According to KileA, there is no copyright problem in doing that(let the lawyers argue that damages should be limited to gross value of lost book sales times the number of hits on your website). Besides getting filthy rich think of the trees you will be responsible for saving! Heck Johnny Cochran might even invest as a partner GhostB.

You guys think CCarr is the only adjuster up here in Kananada?

Hey Kocky or kooky or whatever your name is......if you are an adjuster, then how come you are not contributing some of your vast wealth of adjusting experiences and knowledge so that the rest of us can learn from you..after all we all try to share our experiences and knowledge for the good of all.....sort of like "all for one and one for all".....we may be independent ,but we all want to learn.....and this is a place for sharing knowledge about our industry and the role we all play in it....I know you are not JF...he has the intestinal fortitude to put his name on his posts......

Sniff...sniff,sniff,sniff! Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum, I smell either french blood or a Tarheel. Hard to tell from this distance. It's different from cajun, more acerbic with less dilution of gaul. Tho, it might be a Greensboro flavored Tarheel come home to roost.

In any event, I welcome the repartee and mudslingin'. After all, it is an election year.

Gee, this is fun. We're all getting together on a Saturday PM to have a rump kicking contest just like we did in the old days. Ain't it great?

Well Tom, you could be right. Interesting to see that a person posted as "JimF" on 10/07 16:46 in Newt's "Policys for the Road" thread. Sure seems like the resurrection to me. Maybe because nobody nipped at it, it came back almost a month later from self imposed exile in another form with a bigger attention getter.

Ghost, the Kocky is not a Canuck. I can not picture a Canuck coming up with a measure of loss for the scheme he proposed to you, unless a neighbour in the back fourty was burning some of those narrow leaves and the smoke came into his house. Even our imported Texas Instruments(TM) fancy calculators are modified at the border to limit the number of zeros producable; then it's further discounted by 47% for our multi colored but weakling dollars, before it is surcharged with 15% local taxes at the point of sale. I will wager you a quart of your favorite elixir versus mine that Kocky is not a citizen of the land of crimsom maple leafs with snow on the ground in Calgary as we speak, and yet another quart of yours or mine that this is the person who almost a month ago took his toys and left the room; details of delivery to be mutually agreed upon when a victor is established.

Do I have to ask yet again???
To the KookyKanadian - if you are alleging that plagarism has occured on this site, why don't you identify the instances? Otherwise I think you are full of smoke and hot air and I for one don't care a wit what your opinion of this forum or its postings is!

Unfounded accusations are the reason you are getting such a hostile response from fellow adjusters.

Clayton, the teasing point I'm going for is that every one of your fellow citizens I have ever met has been far calmer than any of the animated folks on this side of our border. Correct my misconception if I'm wrong, but, my impression is GENERALLY that Canadians are more civilized or perhaps reticient in their personal dealings than USofA'ns.

The initial post in this thread seemed to have far more passion in it's 'tone' than I expected from someone on your side of the border.

Or, am I offbase on my perceptions?

KockyCanadianKat, please review the user agreement. If you believe anyone has posted material that violates anyone's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights please forward a copy of the material to me (Roy Cupps, founder, webmaster and head bottle washer), along with an explanation and I will review it.

I believe any information provided in the forums and the other areas of CADO is provided to inform and help other visitors to site and do not feel that the intent is to take credit for someones work.

If any author feels that their rights have been violated by any posts made on this site all they need to do is inform me of the post and request the removal of said post and I will honor such request.

I do not see a need for this thread since it has little or nothing to do with the claim handling industry and community.

But Roy it is FUN !

I am still rolling on the floor laughing at Ghostbusters last 2 posts and the fact that now it has been pointed out ...
Everyone is scratching their head goin ... "yeah, yeah,it DOES sound like (u know who), LOLOL".

And besides, it excercises the investigative muscles of our mind, and ya know we could all use that.

Now THIS is entertainment, and very much welcomed while on the road!

Especially since my Red Raiders got trounced tonight. 8^(

CCARR and JF? ... isn't it obvious that we all are learning from the both of you... isn't there room for tha both of ya ?

hehehe....Please keep it up.

To my most respected Buster of all things ghostly, you are of course quite correct with your perceptions and understanding of our folk. Save an except for the odd red neck pocket on the north shore of Montreal, the docks of St. Johns in Newfieville, and the tarsands of Athabasca, and not to be confused with the few remaining real cowboys in my beloved foothills; we are generally a more calmer sort, certainly than I have encountered in places like Jersey, Illinois - generally more so in the north east, and a very small pocket of cerebral inflammatory propensity a bit east of Winston - Salem.

Like your former peanut farmer, who became your CIC, the ever humble Jimmy Carter, who received the Nobel this year for Peace; we had a former head cheese of our democracy many years ago get the same Nobel for his initiatives at the UN to start the peacekeeping efforts around the world - selling the fueding tribes and nations - that our conciliatory nature and general humbleness could find a common ground to ease tensions.

However, in part to illustrate my beliefs of what Kocky isn't, and to put the hat of dubious distinction back on that person; I with some jest offered my wager to you.

Jenn, let me take this space to say that I got your email, but I tried to reply several times via your CADO email link, and each came it back undeliverable.

Well, I cann't help but keep staring at all the posts in this thread. To me it is truly amazing in many ways.

Let me reach out and attempt a group hug, it's the Canadian thing eh! The lovely crimson maple leafs are falling in a gentle rain today, and the stupid Blue Maple Leafs from the Big Smoke lost last night to the mostly european Senators from Ottawa; while our Eddy the Eagle is out with an infected thumb.

If I am wrong, so be it, I'll sincerely apologize if that turns out to be the case.

If, "KockyCanadianKat" of this thread, and "JimF" of the "Policys for the Road" thread, comes forth and says yes my name is --- -----; it is over with, and I would not reply negatively to that statement. No explanation need be offered, just get it over with. It is my opinion that this episode is not the first time one person has used two "names" to forward commentary to this site, some of you may have recognized the coincidental absence of a three part moniker. Then learn to cut the butter with a duller and more gentle knife, and start contributing in the manner in which the person is capable of doing.

No ifs, buts, explanations or conditions; if you want back in, just acknowledge the episodes in question, get it over with - we have all laughed at and been laughed at for worse things than this. Learn to use your skillful sword as a tool, not a weapon.

We are all imperfect in our own unique ways, but each of us - everyone of you - have something to offer this web site. Those that do contribute, each time whether in humor or varying degrees of seriousness, should evaluate our thoughts to make sure they are not intended to injure one or more of our kind and more importantly recognize that "injury" can be perceived differently by many of us. Those who do not contribute, should make an effort, each of our lives are unique, we each encounter different situations and circumstances that you have evaluated and dealt with in life and work. From that, you do have something of value to offer each of us.

It's your turn.

Uh huh, I see, I see. Is it also a common trait for non-Quebecian Canadians to exhibit elements of condensencion or patronization resembling upper class British snobbery? I have always attributed mine to defective breeding techniques, but now, I wonder if genetics may play a role.
