Will Lilie make a come back and spend a week in the gulf driving us crazy, or will she disappear, maybe allowing kile a chance to visit florida? Stay tuned the tropics haven't finished with us yet. |

Mark, Guess we will have to see if the wind shear takes out Kyle and Lili may get a re-start over warmer water. The three of them may be hazardous to our mental health, think I'll just quit watching. |

Lili is looking strong and bound for the gulf! It has been a long time since texas has had a storm this late, could this be it. And watch that Kile fighting his was west, how far will he go? |

As I drove through one of the worst hit areas of Slidell, LA today I could't help but think, "Please Lili, go someplace else." It wasn't a pretty sight, or smell. |

Head up adjusters in New Orleans and area, keep your eyes on Lilie she seems to want to visit, and if she does follow the models, you may get a first hand experience, and not a TS. Forget Kile, looking real sick at this time. |

Is Kyle reforming to the south, stay tuned for as the storms turn. My friends in New Orleans, you moght get wet but should be no more, heads up Houston and areas east. Maybe Farmers will have one last batch of claims before they leave. |

Kyle is still kicking, weak, but out there churning up the water. No doubt this is cooling the surface and may preclude any chance of an East Coast Hurricane. Mark what do you think? With the heat we have had near the eastern GOM we could get a rise in surface temp here, and who knows. So far I havn't noticed any activity off the coast of Africa. The season may be over. |

African season is toast, this time of year watch closer in western caribean or soutn GOM, expect we'll see one or to more storms anyways. As for Kyle, it is still possible he will visit Florida by the weekend, but not likely to be very powerful. |

Kyle will do the unexpected, whatever it is. There is always one that will not stick with predictions. So I guess it is still heads up time. |

I'm gonna wallow in the pity bucket now for a few minutes.
Yeah, I know...it is one of the accepted realities of this game that we are at all times dependant on the vagaries and whims of Mother Nature. But, I gotta tell ya, I was starting to get my hopes up for a change with Ms Lili. Isadore was a heartbreak, but Ms Lili tore it out of my chest and stomped on it.
I really thought this one would do it. But...doom and gloom and agony on me.
All the fresh meat and aspiring souls should be taking stock of this and reappraising their current job outlooks or the outlooks of other fields of endeavor. Storm trooping is not a wonderland for the get rich quick and easy bunch. It is long periods of nonactivity with short bursts of incredibly intense effort. It is no place for the neophyte or the lightweight or the tire kickers and bagboys. It is expensive to get set up, it is expensive to learn, it is expensive to go on the road. It is also very expensive on your personal life, on your mental stability, and on your physical health, even if you don't fall off a roof. All this is difficult enough without the carriers doing their best to cut us out of the industry thru the use of nationwide call centers, collusion with contractors, and degrading our pay, (even without factoring in Uncle Sams inflation).
(Ya know, I gotta quit listening to the country radio stations. I heard Willie Nelson sing about not letting your babies grow up to cowboys. I transposed adjusters for cowboys, got all moody and depressed, came online and made this sad-sap posting. I think I'll go see my neighbor retired Dr Henry and have him concoct his famous magic Rum & Cola elixer. Good night, all.) |

I like Dr Henry's treatment methods, they can be effective and this season(s) we can use it. But don't relax yet, it now appears that Mr Kyle will likely visit Florida and the gulf, the question being how strong. And now that they think he is headed for the gulf he'll likely do something completely different. Someone suggested tha the name should be changed to Kato in honour of an unwanted houseguest that wouldn;t leave. Kyle is now in the top 10 for lenght of existence. |

We now have a front stalled out just north of Fla. So we got another week of torture. Fla temps have been in the 90s. Anything is possible for the next five days. |

Kilr to visit the Carolinas? The storm that wouldn't quit will likely make back to TS status after being on life support and may even get the Charleston. Not likely to be a work producer. |
