Let's all take a breath and count our blessings. We can be with friends and family, have a really good meal even if you're on the road, enjoy some excellent fellowship with those around you, and have the freedom to move about and say what you please. I'm gonna do just that. I'll remember those that are gone and feel blessed that I can be with those that are dear to me.
Amen Brother....Least we not foget all those of our Armed Forces who are stationed throughout the world.....May God keep them in the palm of His hand.......I can only wish and pray that they return home soon and safely....
It is so easy to focus on what is wrong and I am Thankful for a day that is set aside to focus on what is right. I know two families with small children that lost their home and contents to fire this week but all got out. One that burned about 4 AM was a very close call because in was very hot when they awoke but not in the bedrooms. Thoses that have given up family members for our safety and freedom must be struggling to be see this as a season of Thanksgiving.
For some of us this is the season where we remember the giving of One's own so that others may live. That is one gift that I can't understand but I do accept.
What I'm curious about is this: Does the lady with the umbrella on the bulletin board page have a name? Also, who was the guy on the previous bulletin board page?
Are these people friends or family or adjusters? Inquiring minds want to know.
