Even though we all get caught up in some of the heated discussions here on CADO, real life sometimes rears its' ugly head. I would like to send my condolences to Lee Baker (Pilot 48) and his wife Judy on the loss of her son Paul Neff, Jr.. He died serving his country and bringing freedom to the world, for that I am truly grateful. Paul was one of the 6 soldiers killed when their Blackhawk helicopter was shot down. I am sorry for your loss Judy and Lee, you are in my thoughts and prayers...Rick

As an infantryman and former Bradley Commander I feel each and every loss. Every soldier, sailor, marine and airman is a brother or sister of mine and everytime I hear of another loss on the news I stop and bow my head. As I write this their is actually a tear in my eye. Judy and Lee my thoughts and prayers are with you and your fallen soldier. It may be of little consulation, but he died so that others may live free. May you find at least a little peace in knowing that he gave his life for the betterment of mankind. Nothing anyone can say and nothing any of us can do will be enough to repay you for your loss. Please just know that we are all grateful that there are brave boys and girls like yours willing to do what needs to be done.

Judy and Lee
Nothing can equal the pain of the loss of a child. No matter what the reason.
As a former member of the military, I thank you for your sons bravery.
You are in my thought and prayers.

Lee and Judy,
I can not imagine your grief over the loss of your son....I can only offer both of you my sympathy, and pray that God grants you the strenght to get through this terrible experience......no, things will never be the same, but take some consolance in the fact that he is now , forever, with his Creator and is no longer restricted by wordly bonds.....You are in my thoughts and prayers.....

First and Foremost, My sympathy goes out to Lee and Judy. Your Son died on My and others behalf.
I hope that the pain you have will cease in time and fond remembrances will prevail.
As an "old" veteren, I note that when people on CADO have problems as in Lee and Judy, we all bring our heart to the table and the tasks and problems of "cat adjusting" is put on the back burner. Thank God, we still have that tear in our eye when the flag is flown and our soldiers are in peril.
God bless America and God welcome Paul Neff, Jr into your fold with open arms.

I can only say "I'm Sorry" and that I wish I could share your grief. Only through the grace of God, my Mother didn't have to go through what you are. I lost so many of my close friends and fellow soldiers in Vietnam that I have a deep sense of loss that will be with me forever. But, I've never lost a child. I'm Sorry.

Judi and I have just read this, we're on our way to Mich. to bury Paul with full military honors, Paul is being decorated by a General with the Bronze Star with Valor and other decorations which at this time we don't know, but for some reason CNN and NBC is going to be at his service on Sat.

I want to personally make a statement to Rick Archer (ciri93) he and I have had our problems in past few weeks, but for everyone reading this, Rick is a true gentleman, a true adjuster learning to be a full aduster, and while he and I have had problems, mostly casued by Equity and N&C, he has rose above all the petty bull****, and shown ALL of us what it is to be a man, a good person, and not least, a warm loving human being, and for that I will do all I can to make things right.

Rick Archer is a person to be taken serious, and with RESPECT! He has showed a true desire to learn this trade and NOT complain. Further, Jim Flint was tremendous in his devotion to give time and effort to Rick and to help understand this craft.

I was there, I saw it for my self, and there be no need to write on this site about anything else regarding Jim, he workeded his "A__" off for Carolina Claims and still had time to help me with Rick. Jim Flint is a very giving person who has no axe to grind.

Please accept my apology for anything that has gone wrong regarding Isebel, I am trying my best to get Equity and N&C to make things right for all the work we did.

I have never left an adjuster out in the cold, and I have no intentions of starting now.

Please stick with me, I know what I'm doing.

No one understands war or service until they have participated in or experienced the loss of a loved one.

A bugler blowing taps as a flag is removed from its position as a coffin drape and folded for presentation, a 21 gun salute and a coffin lowered by comrades in arms defines war.

My heart goes out to Lee and Judy.

I am very sorry for the loss of your son. I also feel so sorry for your son. I am a veteran who has lost friends in Vietnam and also a father who lost a 19 year old daughter in a car/truck accident.

I know the pain you are going through and can only say that it will lessen in time.
