Yeah Larry your right, I should just not respond but sometimes it just gets my dander in an uproar. Ignoring such comments is the best policy and I try and do that as much as possible but it's not in my nature and that's a real internal fight for me.
DG, I have no problem with you or your use of waivers. In this business you have to cover your butt against homeowners like the one in your example who do not want to pay and will find any reason not to. They think if they tie you up in legalities you will just go away and they have a free roof. I have come across too many contractors with questionable ethics and morals who pressure unknowledgable homeowners into paying for more than necessary and scare them into doing so. If I have unfairly put you in this category I am sorry.
