I just clicked on the "newest" (as of this writing) member profile of Shawn Hillis.

He logged on to let the community know of his father's recent passing (4/24/03).

Mike Hillis had worked for me in the past, and needless to say, I was compelled to transfer that info into this forum.

I never had the chance to meet him ( I was directing traffic from the east coast, Mike, handling claims from the west....

He always was attentive to the task at hand, and was ever the true professional. I am sorry for your family's loss, Shawn.

I am still in total shock about your father's passing last week. I spoke with him in the afternoon of the 24th. He called me to tell me that he showed SIMSOL to one of this clients and was happy to say the presentation went very well. The next morning Tiffany in our adjusting office called to tell me Mike suffered a heart attack.

I will miss his monthly calls to my office to tell me his latest ideas for the software as the details of some of the files he was working for us.

Your dad was passionate about adjusting as well as everything eles he did. I will miss him and everyone here at SIMSOL sends their regards to you and the rest of the Hillis family.
