I have been with DDS/MSB/Integraclaim just after it came out. I have used Simsol. They are both excellent programs. I prefer Integraclaim because I have used it, understand it, and continuously learn more about it. A new version has some great improvements on the way. Cunningham Lindsey is converting over to the Integraclaim program and that is great. I have looked at the CL version and find it allows you to develop an estimate about 20 to 25% faster with the changes. Some of the changes were made because adjusters make them. I like a company that will listen to the people who use it. Janice and I both are very competent on Integraclaim and can produce estimates, reports, and all related forms in nothing flat. Companies like the ease of reading the estimate. We cannot only think of ourselves, but also the people who read the reports and estimates. We also use the Photoadjuster digital photo processing system, as we like the ease of use and the evidence trail report. You can also check your photos on your laptop before leaving the insured's property. I have found 3 bad discs already in Lafayette. Had to do the photos over again, but beats the heck out of getting back to the room and finding the photos are not accessible. Saves a lot of frustration and milage.

| Wes, you are correct Allstate is using IntegraClaim but that is not a vendor change for them since they have been using Marshall&Swift's property estimating software for many years. Neither is it a software vendor change for Cunningham Lindsey. Since three software vendors have been rolled into one under the IntegraClaim name through Boston Ventures as I understand it you will hear the name of IntegraClaim more often in the future as well. In the case of these two names mentioned by you and Tom does not indicate growth of IntegraClaim use in a true sense but it does indicate MSB did not lose either of these two larger size accounts. It is somewhat like saying Verizon might be the next big phone company since you are now hearing that name a lot these days. The question is what is the cause of mergers in this vertical market? Maybe it is showing that the industry is maturing. |

Wes, I noticed you comment about the many different sidings. Well vinyl, steel and aluminum have more than 80 manufactures, over 200 different textures in more than 40 profiles…Thousands of choices.

Experience will do away with the need for those pictures after the different siding configurations have been sufficiently drilled into my head.

| Looking for a demo copy of Xactimate, they now charge $100.00 for the demo with credit (I believe) if you purchase. Am currently auto and would like to enter the property market.
