I am not insured so it is all out of pocket expense. I am open for suggestion on reasonable health insurance, if any has them. The medical bills are not that big of a concern. Comes to about $8000.00. It is the future income that I did not get that hurts. I will say the vendor that I was working through has been very good to me. This is the risk we take, and for it we are well compensated.

We use what we call the "two minute rule", which is, spend 2 minutes evaluating the situation with an eye toward safety.

As a community we have plenty of injured and dead adjusters.

I did a similiar stunt about two summers ago in Twin Cities. Call me "never no double pull again." Luckily I had purchased workers comp insurance for about $500.00 per year premium.
Anymore, if I can't mount the roof safely or if I'm the least bit uncomfortable about the set up I ain't going up there. It isn't worth it and to h--- with it.

This is supposed to be about our valued animals. Why have we dived off onto the topic of roofs and safety?

This is our Alaskan Husky, Frank. We rescued him 2 1/2 years ago. His friend is Lauren, our granddaughter. Frank doesn't catch fish, but you should see him catch minature marshmallows. Lauren catches the fish.
