Hello,
I am trying to find a tool used by some adjusters that has a ruler mounted on a flat drawing surface. I haven't even seen it so can't describe it, unfortunately. A few adjusters have told us they have this tool which makes their roof diagrams look neat the first time they draw them. Anyone know what I am talking about since I don't?

Sounds like you are describing the Accu-Line design system. www.dollporoducts-dpi.com. Sounds expensive for the descriptions but well worth the investment. Perfectly straight lines, perfect spacing, can't say enough. Also sell a circle drawing tool that is great.

Try www.accu-line.com for an inexpensive drawing tool that works great.
May not be quite what you had in mind but take a look.

Great, cheap template for diagrams that are hand-drawn: a Decora switch cover w/ the corners squared with a file. Fast as anything. This is the 1" x 2" square opening in a cover plate. Use the edges for straight edges, and the inside for rooms, roofs, anything...
