Hurricanes are a pain waiting for them to arrive. The past several days we have all been counting our chickens before they have hatched. One vender as of this morning was recalling several adjusters already in route to the staging area. This storm will reintensify( I believe) as soon as it crosses the gulf stream.
The area of impact and wind speed will be up for debate untill the eye reaches land. My guess is the winds between 120-130 when it reaches Cape Hatteras, and moves on up the Cheasapeak. I predict a lot of work for a lot of people. This is just my guess. Anyone else care to venture a guess, aftre all we have a few hours to kill......as I am ready to roll now.

I have to agree with you, AllCatMan. As Isabel crosses the Gulf Stream it should gain strength and should it go north of 36 Latitude there will be claims enough.

I will stick with my first guess,30 or 40 miles to the south of where it is predicted and most damage will be to the north of that point, and it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't follow the coastline about 40 miles or less inland.
I got my MOJO working on Nicolas, 3d Oct, Lake Charles, La. I think it will be a gulf storm. If I'm wrong blame my black cat bones. Thats only three canes away. It may be a three or four.
It seems like the past few years it has be harder for a cane to reach the east coast, because of ridges and shears that block them. Izzy just got lucky.
