I just got my policys and forms on CD for 2003 along with a big thick book with the same info. I might add it is great to have all that info on the computer at your fingertips.
I also got my insurances courses for inland marine and Insurance Law 1&2, looks like I got my work cut out for the next couple of months or more. I'm trying to catch up, its just so hard when you're old and ugly.<:)

Newt...don't get too excited--all the forms in use are not on that cd---i.e. I'll bet that there isn't a HO-3 4/91 edition which s still very common.....also meny common endorsements are missing.....

Joe this is the latest addition, 2003, so I guess if need those others I, will have to cough up for an older one. Oh well, Its a heck of a lot better than I had. ISO date on my Ho-3 is 3-10-00. I think the NFIP will change shortly so it will be outdated. I think it is still a lot of info for the money. I am getting a pretty good library started.
I got three more books this week, Inland marine, and inurance law 1&2. I wont have an excuse for being stupid if I can learn to read. Thanks for the info Joe, I might have overlooked something if you had not brought this to my attention. Sooner or later I may have caught it but now I know what to look for...

Nothing wrong with a library...but even the best library does not have all the books........when working for a carrier always get as many of the forms they use and squirrel them away........Then you will build a active library as time goes by.........The Alliance policy Kit that you bought is excellent..just remember just because it does not list a form, doesn't mean it does not exist.......always,always, always check and verify the forms applicable to the insured per loss.......

The most comprehensive policy 'bible' would be the PF&M and/or FC&S series which are available in print, CD or online.

Not cheap but quite extensive.

Jim, I have gone about one third through this book of over eight hundred pages and although it is a good source in lacks the older still active policies. I tried to find those books you mentioned but didn't have any luck.
It is always to have your input, and I'll keep trying to find the source for those books.
