John, The difficulties with the flash on that unit are common knowledge. There are several remedies to this for the MV7, (I also have one). First, place a piece of black electrical tape over the center of the flash this will diffuse the light. Another suggestion is to place several layers of clear scotch tape over the flash. There are many on line dissusion groups, on the use of this camera, and many helpful solutions. Try a search on the topic. I recently purchased the MV91, with the 14X zoom, voice input and AVI.This model also shoots a 1240 X 720 photo, and has excellant picture quality. While the megapixel units are better quality, you can't beat the usefulnessof the sony and 3.5" diskette storage.(IMHO) |

Bill, I couldn't wait until I bought my Mavica digital (10x zoom). I am not satisfied with it because of issues involving the flash; seems like the flash overpowers the lens and whites out a lot of photos that required flash. I wish I had bought a megapixel camera with a large capacity memory card. |

Have chance to buy a FD73 digital camera, 6X zoom. Will it do a good job? Thinking of sending a lot of photos via e mail and uploading to websites. Any feeback? |
