Midwest Storm activity yesterday hit several states, and it appears that there is significant damage. It is anticipated that these storm damages are sufficient for the deployment of large numbers of catastrophe adjusters. Enclosed herein are hyperlinks to many of the areas hardest hit. By no means is this list conclusive. Quad Cities Severe Storms Rake Q-C Area http://www.qconline.com/ Chicago area 1 Man Killed As Storms, High Winds Wallop Area http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/metro/chicago/article/0,2669,ART-44891,FF.html Iowa City, Iowa Hail, Windstorms Hammer Area http://www.press-citizen.com Davenport, Iowa Wind, Rain Causes Scattered Damage http://www.qctimes.com Binghamton, NY Storm Wreaks Havoc In Tier http://www.binghamtonpress.com/binghamtonnews/local/Frnews2.html The Weather Channel Online Tornado Lifts, Carries House http://www.weather.com/weather_center/full_story/full1.html I hope this helps everyone. For those who have been looking for something to do, I think this may be the one. Start working those telephones and emails to "your" vendors. |
