IMHO, we cannot go another year without a land-falling hurricane. Will this provide work? For some yes, no matter what the Cataglory. If it is a 3-4-5 then there will be work for all. There is always work in the spring with hail/wind throughout the mid section, for those that Opt for that. The Mold issues/claims will grow expotencially, and there will be work for those that choose to do it. BEWARE, those that do this. Some are NOT going into the losses properly prepared and are ending up very ill. This issue has NOT been addressed openly, but it is in fact, a reality. This should be a typical year for Catadjusters, those that remain will have several options. (Message edited by admin on January 27, 2002) |

Well as someone who worked steadily for the first 8 months of last year but hasn't worked since August I can be considered one who is getting antsy about my career choice. I hope the mold thing pans out because I'm going to begin detailing cars for a friends business so I can put food on the table next week. Hopefully it won't be more than a week or two before the call comes because I can't stand vacuuming cars. If you look at the climatology this should be a big weather year because the last two years have been fairly docile. We can only hope.

Do any of you feel that because of the mold situation that this will create a good year for adjusters. Do any of you feel this will be a good year or a fair year. I know of many who are not working and are getting a little antsy about the their future. What do you think about you future |
