I've never seen a property policy without the appraisal clause in it in 22 years, except some manuscript policies. Most of them have some form of it in there.

As far as I know, the ISO policies of most states all have the standard appraisal clause, and The Texas HO-A-B-and F&R owners and Renters also have the standard appraisal provisions. I am not aware of any state that does not exclude the appriasal clause. Most states use the ISO's except for Big ole Texas also as far as I know.

I was in a policy debate that the appraisal clause was included in every first party property policy (dealing with structures and personal property, not any exotic policies) in every state.
Anyone know otherwise, of of a state that excludes the appraisal clause?
