Crude and rude, Jim. Now it's my turn.
Here in Ol' San Antonio, we'uns got the phallic-like, Tower of the Americas, erected in 1968. About 1/4 mile away is our current municipal pride and joy, the Alamo Dome, a football stadium that will never have a NFL team call it home. It is shaped like a four post, feather bed.
The symbolism is that, here is where the tourists get it 'put to them' by the second highest hotel/motel tax in the nation! Yep, just one more thing that adds to the mystique that is, TEXAS. |
