Can someone please tell me "when" you place your E & O on notice of a potential claim?
Is it when the carrier "formally" notifies you there is a problem?
Is it when the "Insured" disagrees with your service and complains to the company?
Or is it when the carrier "say well, the insured went ahead and replaced the roof based on your estimate of repairs that you "left" him a copy of?
I thought you placed them on notice of potential claim when you were notified that "you" the adjuster may be at risk for an errors and omissions claim?
Can anyone clear this up?

thanks look forward to replies
