Has anyone had PL/ E&O written by AMIS? Anyone have other suggestions for carriers who write this type of insurance?

E&O and General Liability Policies can be obtained from Michael Hale at CPLIC insurance company. The URL is www.cplic.net
<http://www.cplic.net/> . I have a friend who recently purchased policies from this Co. They are a mutual company in that the stockholders are the policy holders that own the stock in the company. They have two types of stock from which you must purchase one type, your choice. It was formed by a group of adjusters who wanted to be able to get their insurance without a hassle.

I think you will find that Michael can take care of your needs. I do not have an interest in this company although I think that I will in a few weeks.

I have my own personal E&O through AMIS which brokers for First Mercury.  I've never had a claim with them, so I can't say if they are good.  They do write a cheap policy (less than $900/yr) which includes E&O and GL.  The CPLIC mentioned above insures my current employer and appears to be the choice of NAIIA Member firms Nationwide.

It seemed reasonable for a million dollars worth of coverage and they'll break it up over nine months which makes it more palatable. Thanks for the info.
