    I know its a weird question but just curious, What (if any) licenses do you have to have to START an adjusting firm in Texas (or for that matter any state).

    Go to the Texas DOI website and do a few minutes of research and your answer (as it relates toward Texas) awaits.

    In my home state of Oregon, where AVCS is incorporated, I have my IA license and an IA firm license (not exactly the title of the IA firm license, but that's what it is) My firm license has two requirements (as does my IA license) a fee of $70.00 USD and a...PULSE

    In Arkansas you would also need a Federal Tax Identification number and to operate inside the city limits of Little Rock, a city permit and the business would have to be located so as to not violate zoning laws.
