Another Cv system, already Noname on the navy site, will be Katia. This is tracking north of the AVI in 7 days, but how strong is the ridge? Model bias nealrly always wnat to make a fish out of these, but give it a few days and we will see. Maybe more excitement for the east coast.

With the CV systems coming in late in season, it's still 10-14 days away from land masses, therefore at this time it would be a race against time with the Fall Candian fronts coming down pushing storms away from the East coast, unless one slips through.. Most likely a homegrown system is the best chance for a landfall at this time in the season !

Models trending west but still suggest a sharp turn just before the CONUS. Even if it make the turn Nova Scotia could be in play or possibley New England. Next few days will be very interesting.

This is an interesting storm. Still barely hanging in as a Cat 1. But should strenghten soon. It will turn north but when? Models want to turn hit before NC. Possible brush with NE and Nova Scotia. But the remains of Lee will help decide where this goes. One things is likely the NE will get more rain out of this mess but how much?
