    1. "I ain't even making no money off this job."
    2. "my bid is not too high, I'm using xactimate prices."
    3. "you are the only adjuster I have met that are denying these roofs"
    4. "farmers state farm and all state are buying all of these"
    5. "it has severe wind lift"

Just a few I can think of off the top of my head.

I work for carriers that do not write Replacement Cost Coverage. It comes as a shock to some contractors....". Who has never heard of such a policy ?" . I try to let them down easy and thank them putting up their ladder, as mine is kinda heavy for me to lift out of my SUV, then we go inside and tell the insured to come up with some $$$ as this contingency roof contract had never heard of ACV payment only.

I have been thinking about TWIA requiring the Old El Paso T Lock comp shingles. Eliminate wind lift in the TX. coastal counties. Start the drums beating for T locks.

    How about:

    1. This is discontinued. It can't be matched.
    2. You have to shine a light on this siding just right to see the hail damage.

    Very true.

As for sick of hearing contractors say....

    "the shingles are zippered"

"In Florida this would get paid"

"I thought this was going to be easy to get bought...Nationwide would buy it"

We can help each other out!

This is when I simply turn and walk away.

I wlways use to hear, "State Farm pays for that." I wondered what they would say if I worked for SF. Finally worked for them during the TX mold days. Then I heard, "The Dallas State Farm office pays for that."
