If you guys don't have anything more substantial to argue about than this, you need to look around.

At least try to make your quibbling interesting.

The credit check thingy is going be more and more prevalent. The bean counters have been driving the train for several years now and they just love charts and graphs full of information that is about as interesting to me as watching paint dry.

My credit is good enough to buy a new pickup with an Amex card but I'm sure if one turns over enough rocks, there's a hiccup in there somewhere.

Those that know me and my work matter to me and those that don't, don't.

Tex brings out the big wooden spoon again!
The above probably doesn't make sense now, because Tex has edited & deleted part of his prior post.  Whether someone had an appetite for an alcoholic beverage now and then several years ago, or even currently...does not make it right to slander anyone.

Roy, I'd suggest the "edit"  & "delete"  feature be disabled after 12-24 hours.    That gives everyone enough time to change (or find) their mind.  It also gives time for the forum police to delete as necessary... or the poster can just take their lumps.

I'll not plead innocent to having made asinine comments on this site, but the only editing has been for grammar or spelling.  If it's spelled & worded right, and I still make a fool of myself in some minds (all of mine included ) , that's OK...you won't find me retracting or deleting.

That was part of my point Larry.   Tex chose to stir the pot (which doesn't bother me at all), and I even do a little stirring myself when the notion or potion arises.  But Tex made a statement he shouldn't have, then pulled it...like a premature immaculator.  Afterall, you responded to him back on the 11th.  I know you don't have a short memory.
(edit/addition within self-imposed time limations):  Larry H, that was your other brother Larry W that responded on the 11th. It's hard to tell you two apart sometimes.  Tell your other brother Darryl hello for me.

Yeah, that comment (has since been edited out) came out of nowhere and didn't add a hell of a lot to the conversation.
